Sugar Bake Shoppe owners Kate Repko & Phay Kim have over 20 years combined experience with wedding cakes and specialty desserts.

Sugar Bake Shoppe firmly believes that wedding cakes should taste as amazing as they look, so everything is always baked fresh, beautiful and made with extra love.

Phay Kim, co-owner of Sugar Bake Shoppe, has a pastry degree from Johnson & Wales as well as certification for Serve Safe Management. She is highly skilled at baking all things pastry, using both the balance of art and science to make every bite mouth watering perfection. Phay also has a unique talent for sugar flowers, which are a beautiful edible addition to any cake.
She has been working with Kate Repko for over 10 years, to perfect their pastry recipes .

Kate Repko, co-owner of Sugar Bake Shoppe, has a Culinary Science Degree from The Art Institute of Philadelphia. Before this she attended The Baum School of Art and took several fine arts classes in College. The Art background helped Kate be highly skilled at decorating wedding cakes. Her work with clay and paint simply transferred to fondant and icing, making her ideal for custom cake design. Kate also excels at making buttercream and fillings.

Together Phay and Kate are an unstoppable and unique team, taking on any pastry challenge. They are fueled by their friendship, the joy of baking and of course....the love for cake.
